Adopt A Greenway

This program provides an opportunity to create ownership and pride in our Midtown Greenway – and it’s a great team-building activity!

Adopt A Greenway

Who: Community groups, schools, businesses, churches, and other volunteering groups.

When: Participating groups are responsible for two cleanups per year over a two-year period. Cleanup times will be set by the adopting party and should be reported to the Midtown Greenway Coalition so we can assist you by providing supplies and arranging for trash removal.

Where: Adopters are responsible for a four-block section of the Greenway, chosen by the adopter.

How will you benefit from becoming an adopter?

  • Your organization's contribution will be recognized on an attractive sign along your section of the Greenway.
  • You’ll be recogized online, and if you send in photos of your clean-up, we’ll post them to social media.
  • You'll be providing a fun employee team-building activity and building pride in helping the Greenway and our community.

What are the costs?

Adopting organizations and businesses pay a fee to support the program, using the following guidelines:

K-12 schools/social/religions organizations/Non-profits: $300-499

Small businesses (fewer than 100 employees): $500-699

Medium-sized businesses (100-500 employees): $700-899

Large businesses (500+ employees): $900-2500+

Within the range, you may select whatever level you feel fits your organization.
