We are pleased to announce that the latest Rails to Trails Magazine features the Midtown Greenway as the cover story!

Hiawatha Substation Design

The design for the Xcel Hiawatha Substation has changed in a way that is very problematic! The new design favors obscured views of the structure from people in cars and trains on Hiawatha, at the expense of views by people using the Midtown Greenway.

North Lake Calhoun / South Lake of the Isles Charrette

The Park & Recreation Board is exploring the idea of a better connection between Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles. The grand goal is a land bridge, which would provide a beautiful park space as well as new connections to the Greenway.

After a long deliberation, the Public Utilities Commission voted to bury the power lines under 28th Street. We're very excited about this decision!
